Project 365, Days 358-365 (FINAL WEEK!)

I'm finally blogging the final week of 2015 for my Project 365. I will say that after being done taking pictures for it for a few weeks now that at times I miss it, I miss the challenge of it. But then there are other days that I'm so glad it's over and I've cut my workload significantly for the year.

Anyways, without further ado...

358:365 We decided to start a new tradition of buying and opening Christmas pajamas on Christmas eve. I loved it!

359:365 Christmas crackers during breakfast was a whole lot of fun, we each got a wind-up snowman that we then raced and had a good laugh at for 20-30 minutes.

360:365 Went on an adventure to Utah Lake and it was completely frozen over. The snow pattern on it made it look like tiny frozen islands in an icy ocean.

361:365 One last photo of our Christmas tree in its glory before we take it down for another year.

362:365 A bleak, hazy day in the valley.

363:365 My sister got me some glow-in-the-dark yarn for Christmas and you better believe I'm stoked to use it. It's super bright too!

364:365 Nothing like a temple trip on a snowy, chilly night to warm your heart.

365:365 I felt like taking a long-exposure sparklers picture for New Years Eve, it seemed fitting for my final picture of my project, plus fireworks and New Years Eve go together, right? And isn't our heart super adorable <3

That's a wrap! I'm done taking pictures, I'm done blogging (granted, a bit late, the holidays will do that to you) and it's such a relief. Like I said above, it's bittersweet but I'm glad I did it and maybe sometime soon I'll do it again.

For now, though, I'm trying to do a weekly photo shoot and so far so good! I haven't blogged about it yet but you know me and my blogging consistency, heh.

Project 365, Days 351-357

351:365 Welcome home, Andrew! His parents and sister embrace him as he comes off the plane after serving a 2-year mission down in Mexico.

352:365 Ryan's great grandma Partridge passed away after being bed-ridden for a couple of years. She was an amazing artist (she painted that image of Rainbow Bridge!) and I wish that I had known her better.

353:365 We got to see the new Star Wars movie in a theatre that has what looks like a giant lightsaber shooting out of the top!

354:365 Presents under the tree <3

355:365 Went and got scones as is tradition this time of year. They are as big as ever before.

356:365 Nothing like watching Charlie Brown Christmas while I wrap presents and get prepared for the Christmas season.

357:365 Another tradition that we partake in every year is going to the Hale Theater in Orem and seeing A Christmas Carol. It's always a fun time! Here is the artwork they have on their walls representing the three spirits that visit Scrooge.

Just one more week and I'm done with my Project 365. I've been meaning to blog about my upcoming New Years Resolutions for 2016 and talk about the things I'm excited about doing this year (alas, no Project 365 this time. Too much work.). So that should be coming.

Project 365, Days 344-350

344:365 We decorated our door frame for Christmas. Lights always make things seem more magical!

345:365 When Christmas comes along, so does the annual watching of our favorite Christmas movies. Elf is a must-watch each year.

346:365 I finished my cowl! I'm in love with it :)

347:365 This is one of my favorite Nativity scenes at Ryan's parents house. They got it while they were in Jerusalem. It's made of wood from a native olive tree. So cool!

348:365 This creepy Santa ornament has haunted our Christmas tree since I've been married to Ryan. He got it from a member of the church when he was serving a mission in South Carolina so it has sentimental value, not to mention Ryan finds it hilarious how creeped out I am by it.

349:365 There's something so serene about snow falling at night.

350:365 At my company's Holiday party, this little girl's raffle ticket was called to receive a reward. She is the daughter of one of the employees and is absolutely darling. Craig, the general manager of the company, is just as adorable especially as he interacts with this sweet little girl.

Although at the present time I'm finished with my Project 365, I will post the last couple of blogs in the coming days. And I'm working on my next annual project which is to do weekly photo shoots that hopefully push me as a budding amateur photographer.
